How to Build Pages with the Page Builder on Raklet?

Build pages for your community from blocks, from text and images to live events, membership plans, donation forms and your member directory. No coding needed.

The Page Builder lets you create pages for your community by adding blocks to a canvas. You can combine text, images and hero banners with live blocks that pull information straight from your Raklet account, such as upcoming events, membership plans, a donation form or your member directory. Live blocks update automatically, so your pages always show the latest information without you having to edit them.

You can use the Page Builder to create landing pages, an "About us" page, a "Join us" page with your plans and application form, a donation page, a sponsor page, or your community's homepage.

Go to Social Network > Pages

Log into your account and go to the Social Network tab on the left. Then click Pages.

Create or Edit a Page

Click Create Page to start a new page, or click Edit next to an existing page. The Page Builder opens with your page on the canvas. The Page Builder is now the editor for every page, including pages you created before it was introduced.

You can also open the Page Builder while viewing a page on your community site: as an admin, click the Edit link on the page.

Add Blocks to Your Page

Add blocks from the side panel and move them up or down to change their order. The canvas shows your page with your community's branding, colors and images, so what you see is what your visitors will see.

Content blocks

  • Heading and Text: titles and paragraphs for your content.

  • Image: photos, logos or graphics. You can pick these from your Media Gallery.

  • Hero: a large banner section for the top of your page, with either a solid color background or a background image with a tinted overlay.

  • Button: a call to action that links to any page or URL.

Live blocks

These blocks show information from your Raklet account and update on their own:

  • Events: your upcoming events.

  • Membership Plans: your plans, so visitors can choose one and join.

  • Application Form: your membership application form.

  • Donate: a donation form.

  • Member Directory: your member directory.

  • Jobs: your job postings.

  • Map: a map of your contacts or locations. The map shows as a placeholder while you edit and appears in full on the live page.

Live blocks follow your existing privacy settings. For example, if your job postings are visible to members only, visitors who are not logged in will not see them on the page.

Adjust Section Spacing and Width

Select a section on the canvas to adjust how it looks:

  • Padding: None, Small, Medium or Large space inside the section.

  • Width: Contained, Wide or Full width (edge to edge).

  • Gap below: the space between this section and the next one.

These options use preset sizes so that your pages stay consistent and look good on every screen.

Set Up Page Settings

Open the Settings panel in the Page Builder to set up your page:

  • Layout: show the page with or without your site's navigation menu.

  • Visibility: make the page public, visible to members only, or visible only to members on specific membership plans.

  • Page URL: This comes from the Page's Title. If you name the page as "New Homepage", the URL of the page will be https://YOURORGANIZATIONNAME.raklet.com/p/new-homepage

    • You can update the URL from the Page Settings after you publish your page.

  • Delete page: remove the page when you no longer need it.

Save and Publish Your Page

Click Save.

A new page is saved as a Draft, so you can keep working on it without anyone seeing it. When it is ready, change the status from Draft to Published. Only published pages are visible to your members and visitors; a draft page is visible to admins only.

Once published, your page is available at its page URL. You can share the link by email, SMS or in a post, or add it to your navigation menu so members can find it easily.

You can also set any page as your community's homepage.

Use Pages as Your Content Management System (CMS)

Pages are not only for landing pages. Because you can create as many as you need and control who sees each one, Pages work as a simple content management system for your community site. Common examples:

  • About us, Our team, Contact: the standard pages every organization needs, each with its own URL.

  • Sponsors and partners: a page of logos and links, updated whenever your sponsor list changes.

  • Resources and documents: member-only pages with guides, bylaws, meeting minutes or downloadable files, visible only to the plans you choose.

  • Programs and committees: one page per program, with its own Events block so each page lists only what is relevant.

  • News and announcements: for time-based updates, use Posts instead, and link to them from a page where useful.

To make your pages easy to find, add them to your navigation menu, group related pages under a dropdown, and link between pages with Button blocks. Embedded videos, forms and other rich media can be added through code view.

Things to Know

  • Your existing pages still work. Pages you created before the Page Builder keep working and open in the Page Builder when you edit them.

  • Code view for advanced users. If you prefer working with HTML, switch to code view to edit your page's code directly. When you switch back, your changes appear as blocks on the canvas. For security, scripts are removed from page code.

  • Re-save older pages for the latest look. Spacing and layout improvements apply when a page is saved, so open and save older pages to get the latest styling.
