If your organization runs both classes and one-off events, they now live in two separate places. In the admin panel, classes have their own Classes menu with their own list. In the member portal, members find classes on a dedicated Classes page, and events stay on the Events page.
The Classes menu in the admin panel
Go to Classes in the left menu of your Administrator Panel, right below Events. The Classes menu appears whenever the Events app is enabled for your organization.
The Classes list shows only your classes, split into upcoming and past classes.
The Events list now shows only events, so the two no longer mix.
The overview numbers at the top of each list (registrations, revenue, check-ins and top items) count only that list's type.
Inside the Classes menu, every screen uses class wording, such as Class Name, Recurring Class and Total classes.
Adding a class
In Classes, click Add Class. The form opens as a class, with the Instructors and Room fields ready, so there is no type to choose. Fill in the details, add your spots (tickets) and publish, just like before.
Likewise, Add Event in the Events menu always creates an event.
Moving an item between Events and Classes
If something ended up in the wrong list, edit it and change its Type between Event and Class. The type choice is only shown when editing, and the item moves to the matching list when you save.
The Classes page in the member portal
Members now have a separate Classes page:
It opens on the weekly timetable, showing each class by day and time with its room and instructor. Members can switch to a list of upcoming classes, which also supports search.
Class rows show the room and instructors, and free class spots are labelled Free.
The Events page shows only events, with its list and calendar views.
The Classes link in the member menu
As soon as your organization has at least one class, a Classes link appears in the member menu, right after Events. You can also add Classes as a page yourself in Settings > Navigation.
Showing classes on your own website
The event calendar embed now shows events only. To show your classes on your website, go to Events > Settings > General, find the Website embed section and copy the separate class timetable snippet. Place it on your site the same way as the event calendar.
Things to Know
If you already had classes, they moved automatically from the Events list and the Events page to Classes. Nothing needs to be recreated.
Your existing event calendar embed no longer shows classes. Add the class timetable snippet to your website if you want classes to stay visible there.
The Classes link stays in the member menu while your organization has classes, even if it is removed from Navigation.
Member-submitted events always appear under Events, so the Classes list has no Pending tab.
