In Raklet, there may be instances where you want to associate two or more records, such as linking family members or any other related individuals.
You can do this with 2 different methods.
Using Corporate Member Type
If you want to associate records in such a way that they are listed under one organization or family, you can use the Corporate Member Type.
This method is particularly useful for grouping related individuals together.
Here's how to do it:
Create a New Contact: Start by creating a new contact as a company or organization if you don't already have one. For example, you can create a contact called "Smith Family."
Add Submembers: Within the Smith Family contact, you can add submembers such as John Smith and Mary Smith. This will list them as part of the same organization or family.
Save Changes: Be sure to save your changes, and now John and Mary Smith will be associated under the Smith Family.
Using Tags
Another way to associate records is by using tags. This method is versatile and can be used for various types of associations, not just family members.
Here's how to use tags:
Create a Tag: Start by creating a tag with a relevant name, such as "Smith Family."
Tag Both Individuals: Go to the profiles of John and Mary Smith and add the "Smith" tag to each of their profiles.
Save Changes: Remember to save the changes. Now, both John and Mary Smith are associated under the "Smith Family" tag.
