Changing the barcode message type in the digital membership card settings allows you to access different pages when you scan the card.
There are three different options here:
If you choose "barcode message type" as "link", scanning the digital card will take you to the member's profile page. From here, you can check the details in the member profile and view the actions on the member's timeline.
2. Member ID
If you choose "barcode message type" as "member ID" you will be able to see member no on the digital card. At the same time, when you scan the card, it automatically matches the person with the same member number on another platform.
For example, if you want to define a discount coupon for your member here, you don't have to manually enter the member number in Square. The system takes care of this by automatically pairing it.
If you select the "barcode message type" as "membership", it will allow you to see whether the member is active or not on the screen. At the same time, you will be able to check in to members by using the check-in button that appears.
Where will you choose these options?
1. Select the membership tab from the admin panel.
2. After clicking 'settings' from the menu above, select digital membership card from the left bar.
3. When you scroll down the screen, you will see the "barcode message type" option.
