The message module is not just about email, but today we want to show you email customization.

Do you want to change the copy in the email when someone signs up for your account or registers for your event? It's easy to customize these system emails on our platform.

However, first, you need to verify your account by uploading your legal entities to make any edits in this module.

Let's first navigate to Admin > Messages > Automated where you can find the list of automated emails. You can edit the default templates' write message part.

Do you want to create new templates from scratch? Simply go to your message templates page and create a new one.

You can use these dynamic fields in all of your email/message templates:

The shortcodes below are used in system-triggered emails such as account activation, password setup, and membership approval flows.

⚠️ Important:
Emails that include these shortcodes cannot be edited or customized, and the shortcodes themselves cannot be updated or removed, as they are required for the related system flow to function properly.

This email is sent when a membership application is submitted. The following shortcodes are supported in this template:

This email is sent after a successful event registration and/or payment.
The following event- and payment-based shortcodes are supported and will only work correctly within this automated email type.

Some shortcodes require a specific context (such as an event, payment, or approval flow). These will only work in the related automated emails and are not supported in manual or campaign emails.
