How to Refund a Payment for Your Members?

Learn how to refund for your members on Raklet.

If you are subscribed to Raklet after 2022, you can make the refund directly from Raklet.

After the refund is processed, please make sure that you remove the invoice record from your account so that you have healthy payment reports, because they are not automatically deleted.

Refunding Membership Fees

You can either use the Reports > Payments to refund the membership fees, or you can directly go to the user profile to make the refund.

Please note that when this payment is refunded, the subscription status will be set to Past Due for the member. Consider cancelling the subscription instead to avoid future charges.

Also, if this subscription has an active recurring payment and if this recurring (scheduled) payment is not cancelled separately, future payments may continue to be charged.

Refunding Event Registration Fees & Donations

If this is an event ticket, you can make the refund from the Reports > Payments by filtering the event. After you make the refund, please remove the registration from the event.

You can use this page to refund the donation fees as well.

Once the refund is successful, the payment is labelled as "Refunded".

You can then review the refunds from Reports > Refunds.

If you subscribed to Raklet before 2022 and you want to request a refund for your members' payments, you will have to contact our support team via chat or at our β€œ[email protected]” email address by stating the reason for your refund request.

You may request a refund through the Raklet support team within 30 days from your date of purchase. We process the refund for you, and usually, refunds take up to 5-10 business days to be completed.
