Do I Need a Legal Entity to Use Raklet?

If you are an individual or a sole trader, you can still create accounts on Stripe and enjoy your Raklet experience.

Updated this week

Raklet fully supports individual use of collecting donations, organizing events, or building a community. So, you do not need to have a registered company or legal entity to use Raklet.

You will still have full access to all Raklet features, and your account will be in your full control.

To verify your identification, Stripe usually asks for the following documents.

  • One that acts as a form of identification

  • One that acts as proof of residence

You can take a look at this article on Stripe for more information about the documentation.

If you want to create an account on Raklet while not registered as a company, the same process will apply. All of the account's details are ultimately within your control. All you have to do is upload your state ID, driver's license, or passport to approve your account.
