You can decide on your member’s type from their member profile. You can use this feature to define your members.
Here is a short video on how to change the user type fields:
Go to Contacts
First, you need to log in to your Raklet account, and then on the admin panel, go to Contacts.
Search Names
Search for the member’s name you want to change their user type.
Go to Membership
From the member's page, go to the membership part.
Check the Type
Under the membership, find and click on Type.
You’ll see different member types; choose the relevant one.
Update the changes, and you’ve successfully updated the contact.
What are these member types?
Member: These are regular members who can log in to the platform and subscribe to a membership plan depending on the permissions.
Employee: Admins can update their contacts' member type as "Employee," and this can be used to differentiate your employees, but this type behaves like a regular member. They can log in to the platform and subscribe to a plan.
Potential Member: This is added by the admins only. Generally, this type is used for the contacts who want to receive emails (like newsletters or marketing campaigns) from the community, but don't want to be a regular member of the community. They cannot log in to the platform unless they become a member.
Company: This type is for companies that sign up for the group membership plan. They can add their submembers under their membership plan. This behaves like a regular member, so they can subscribe to a plan and log in to the system.
Sub Member: This type can log in to the system, and they are saved under the company member or family members.
Donor: This type cannot log in to the system, and they should become a member in order to do that.
Event Participant: A contact is automatically saved as an event participant in the system when they sign up for an event without logging in. This type cannot log in to the syste,m and they should become a member to do that.
