Connect Zoom to Raklet to track who actually attends your online events. Members register for your event on Raklet, receive the Zoom link automatically, and are marked as checked-in on Raklet the moment they join the Zoom meeting or webinar.
You can then tag participants who showed up vs. did not show up and tailor your follow-up communication accordingly.
What the integration does (and doesn't do)
Does: sends the Zoom join link to members who register on Raklet, and records attendance (check-in) on Raklet when they join on Zoom.
Doesn't: register members in Zoom or create unique per-person join links. Everyone receives the same join link, so create your Zoom meeting or webinar without "Require registration".
Installation
How it works
The integration uses Zoom webhooks. Whenever someone joins your Zoom meeting or webinar, Zoom notifies Raklet, and Raklet matches the participant to your event registrations by email address. Matched participants are marked as checked-in.
Step 1 - Create the meeting on Zoom and copy the join link
Create your meeting or webinar on Zoom as usual, then copy the join link. It looks like this:
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88557677005?pwd=bkhSSkxuaDBDSXNUd1pidG1ScURyZz09
Important: use the join link (the one containing /j/), not a registration link (containing /webinar/register/). Raklet reads the meeting ID from the join link; a registration link will not work.
Step 2 - Add the link to your Raklet event
Create your event on Raklet, mark it as an online event, and paste the Zoom join link as the event URL.
Step 3 - Create tickets
Create tickets for your event. To keep the link private, make the tickets members-only so that anonymous visitors cannot register.
When members register, they see the Zoom link on the confirmation screen and receive it in their confirmation email and calendar invite.
Step 4 - Check-in is recorded automatically
When a registered member joins on Zoom, their check-in status on the Raklet event is set to checked-in, so you can see who actually attended.
Raklet also lists anyone who joined the Zoom meeting without a Raklet registration, so you can see if the link was shared with others.
Good to know
Matching is by email. Zoom only shares a participant's email with Raklet when they are signed in to a Zoom account. Ask members to join while signed in to Zoom with the same email they use on Raklet.
Registration-required Zoom webinars are not supported by the built-in integration. If you need unique per-person Zoom links, you can connect Raklet and Zoom through Zapier or Make: new Raklet event participant → create Zoom registrant. Attendance will still flow back to Raklet as described above.
Zoom's own passcode and waiting-room settings work as normal and do not affect the integration.
Uninstallation
Step 1 - Log in to your Zoom account and open the Zoom App Marketplace.
Step 2 - Click 'Manage' > 'Installed Apps' and find the Raklet app.
Step 3 - Click Uninstall.
