These steps are required before you can accept payments or donations through Raklet.

Required documents

Stripe typically asks for two types of documents:

  1. A valid photo ID, such as:

    • Passport

    • Driver’s license

    • Government-issued identity card

  2. A proof of residence, such as:

    • Utility bill

    • Bank statement

    • Rental agreement or government letter

💡 If you only have one document (e.g., your ID includes your address), you can upload the same document in both sections.

Why is verification important?

Raklet uses Stripe to process all financial transactions. To ensure a secure and compliant environment, Stripe requires identity verification before:

  • Receiving payments or donations

  • Sending out transactional emails

  • Accessing financial tools or dashboards
