Why Whitelisting Matters
Whitelisting ensures that you never miss important emails, preventing messages from getting lost in spam folders. If you expect emails from a particular sender, adding them to your whitelist improves email deliverability and helps you stay connected.
By following these steps, you can ensure that emails from important senders always reach your inbox without interruption.
Gmail
Open Gmail and click the gear icon in the upper-right corner.
Select See all settings from the dropdown menu.
Navigate to the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab.
Click Create a new filter and enter the email address or domain you want to whitelist in the From field.
Click Create Filter, then check Never send it to Spam.
Click Create Filter again to save your settings.
Outlook (Hotmail, Live, MSN)
Open Outlook and click the gear icon in the top-right corner.
Select View all Outlook settings at the bottom of the dropdown.
Go to Mail > Junk email.
Under Safe senders and domains, click Add.
Enter the email address or domain you want to whitelist and click Save.
Yahoo Mail
Open Yahoo Mail and click the Settings icon.
Select More Settings, then navigate to Filters.
Click Add New Filters.
Name your filter and enter the email address in the From field.
Choose Inbox as the folder to move emails to.
Click Save.
Apple Mail (iCloud Mail)
Open Mail and go to Preferences.
Select the Rules tab and click Add Rule.
Name your rule and set the condition to If any of the following conditions are met > From contains.
Enter the email address.
Under Perform the following actions, choose Move Message to the mailbox: Inbox.
Click OK to save the rule.
